PartnerRe Ltd announced that it has priced its previously announced offering of 8 million common shares at $48.27 which would raise $386.16 million. The offering should close on Thursday. The net proceeds from the offering will be used in part to repurchase 6 million common shares from affiliates of Swiss Reinsurance at a price per share equal to the company's net proceeds after commissions and fees. Those shares will be cancelled and no longer outstanding. The remaining net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
