Sir John to hand out awards today
Former Premier Sir John Swan will present more than 50 certificates and diplomas this afternoon at The Bermuda Insurance Institute's Education Awards Luncheon. He will also announce the recipients of seven subject prizes which vary in value from $250 to $500 as well as the recipients of three scholarships administered by the BII.
The Shelton Burgess Scholarship worth up to $6,000 and the Verbena Daniels Scholarship worth up to $5,000 are sponsored by donations from the Insurance Advisory Committee (IAC). The new Willis Scholarship is sponsored by a donation of up to $5,000 from Willis (Bermuda) Ltd.

Smith from Centre Solutions will receive an Associate in Claims while Sir John will present an Associate in Risk Management to Brett Flande ? Oil; Felix S. Paul ? Marsh; David Spratt ?
