Zurich Global Energy Zurich Global Energy Appoints Carla R. Greaves VP and Global Casualty Manager
Carla R. Greaves has been appointed vice president and global casualty manager of Zurich Global Energy.
In this Bermuda-based position, Ms Greaves will be responsible for providing non-US clients with both traditional and innovative casualty concepts and total risk solutions, including general liability, pollution liability, and umbrella and excess liability coverages, the company said.
She will also manage various product and service initiatives and review underwriting guidelines. The global casualty operations in London, Zurich and Bermuda will report to her.
Ms Greaves has been with Zurich Global Energy since 1997, most recently as branch manager of the Bermuda office, where she oversaw the entire operations of the branch. Prior to that, she was assistant vice president of Liability, and was later promoted to vice president of Liability, responsible for managing the day-to-day underwriting operations of the Bermuda branch's Liability unit.
Greaves began her insurance career with American International Company Limited, and prior to joining Zurich Global Energy she was a Liability Underwriter at XL Capital Ltd.
Greaves is a graduate of The College of Insurance, New York, and holds the Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) professional designation.

CCS appoints Wade as telephone engineer
CCS Group Ltd has announced the appointment of Mark Wade as a telephone engineer in their network communication division.
Mr. Wade, a Bermudian, has joined the information technology and telecommunications solutions service provider from Cable & Wireless.
He is a graduate of Bermuda College where he got a diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration. He then went on to Chelmsford University and Cable & Wireless Telecommunications College where he received a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. Mr. Wade has more than 14 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
