MUMBAI (Bloomberg) – Accenture Ltd., the world's second-largest technology-consulting company, plans to increase its workforce in India to 50,000 this year, CEO William Green said.

The Bermuda-based company, which currently employs 37,000 people in the South Asian nation, will hire 60,000 people worldwide this year, Mr. Green said in Mumbai yesterday.
