The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) saw 10,868 shares traded yesterday.

The shares were valued at $147,172.4. It closed at 5,188.59, a net drop of 6.79 points or 0.13 percent.

Butterfield Bank's share price dropped by five cents ending the day at $17.55 after 3,948 shares were traded.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. saw its share price climb by 50 cents to $11, a 4.8 percent rise.

And Belco Holdings Ltd. saw its price drop by 10 cents after 220 shares were traded. It ended the day at $21.85.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,044.69, a change of 0.814 percent.
