BF&M Ltd. has announced the appointment of Catherine Lord as a director of the company.

Glenn Titterton, chairman of BF&M, on behalf of the board of directors, said he was pleased to announce Mrs. Lord's appointment to the role. Mrs. Lord has more than 30 years of experience in the international reinsurance market. She started her insurance career with BF&M in 1972. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Lord was a vice-president with Johnson & Higgins (Bermuda) Ltd., responsible for developing captive reinsurance, as well as managing claims. During her 20-year career with Johnson & Higgins, Mrs. Lord was involved in areas such as brokering, accounting, treaty negotiations and change management and has also served on several local boards.
