KUALA LUMPER (Bloomberg) — MAA Holdings plans to start talks to sell a stake in its insurance unit, Malaysian Assurance Alliance, with four suitors, including Allianz Insurance Management Asia Pacific Pte.

Malaysia's central bank approved the start of talks with Allianz, AXA Asia Pacific Holdings together with Affin Holdings, Kurnia Asia and Nippon Life Insurance Company, MAA Holdings said in a statement.
