Southampton is the latest parish to have Bermuda CableVision's high-speed data service, Broadband Link, rolled out.

The company has been introducing the service parish-by-parish, moving eastward from St. George's at the rate of about one parish per month.

Rollin Nathan, sales manager for Bermuda CableVision, said: "We have reached another milestone in the roll-out of Broadband Link, with the service now available to residents of Southampton as of today.

Demand for Broadband Link has been growing, and we're already preparing our network to activate the service in Sandys next month.
