BF&M into decline

Insurance and banking were the busiest sectors on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
BF&M Ltd. saw its share price sink 35 cents (1.6 percent) to close at $22, with 700 shares traded.
Meanwhile, Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. - warrants dropped 25 cents (11.1 percent) to finish on $2, as 2,200 shares changed hands.
Other traders included Butterfield Bank (5,575 shares) and Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (1,300), but their share values remained unchanged.
The Index, overall, was down 5.11 points (0.1 percent) at 5,052.8, with a total of 7,775 shares worth $132,211.25 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index also declined 17.26 points (1.59 percent) to 1,061.86.
