Butterfield Bank dropped five cents (0.3 percent) to close at $17.30 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank also traded 2,299 shares throughout the day.

The only other trader was Argus Group Holdings Ltd., which saw 700 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $16.

Overall, the Index was down 8.79 points (0.17 percent) at 5,124.7, as 2,99 shares worth $50,975.65 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index also dropped 0.14 percent to finish on 1,067.86.
