A look at Weekly Stocks Nine issues closed down, one gained and five closed unchanged last week on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The exchange slid 19.02 points or 1.84 percent to close at 1,017.18.Bermuda Computer Services closed down $2.75 at $12 on volume of 500.

Telco closed down $1.75 at $36.75 on volume of 1,200.

Bank of Butterfield closed down 50 cents at $11 on volume of 12,836 while Hemisphere preferred dropped 50 cents to close at $7 on 1,010.

Bermuda Home closed down 37.5 cents at $9.50 on volume of 8,116.

Argus closed down 25 cents at $10.75 on volume of 826.

Bank of Bermuda closed down 12.5 cents at $18.50 on volume of 30,042 while Bermuda Commercial Bank warrants closed down 12.5 cents at $1.375 on volume of 5,000.

The only gainer, Belco, was up 25 cents closing at $20 on volume of 4,040.

Issues closing unchanged were; Staples preferred, $9, 11,416, BF&M, $6.875, 2,000, Bermuda Commercial Bank, $5.125, 1,561, Bank of Bermuda warrants, $3, 432 and 60,000 units of Bank of Bermuda 9% sub. cap. nts. 2001 traded unchanged at 102.25 with a value of $61,412.50.

Share volume for the week was 79,104 with a value of $1,061,749.75.

Total value of the week's trading was $1,123,162.
