The offer is good for travel starting before March 31. All travel must be completed by April 30.

Ticket requirements are for a minimum stay of seven days and a maximum stay of one month. Reservations can only be made 48 hours or less before departure.

"This is good news for Bermuda travellers,'' local BA manager Mr. Phillip Troake said.

"It marks the first time since 1990 that fares have been below the $500 mark.

Combined with the more favourable sterling rate of exchange in Britain, we feel confident that many residents will take advantage of these savings.'' BA currently flies to London on Tuesday and Saturday. On April 1, a Thursday flight will be added.

BA said the fare was subject to Government approval.
