Bermuda Broadcasting fell 13 cents to close at $5.50.

Overall the index gained 75.76 points, or 5.6 percent to finish at 1,363.36 on a volume of 40,216 shares valued at $882,226, and bonds worth $32,323.

The BSX-FTSE Insurance Index gained 19.690 or 2.35 percent to close at 857.06.
