Bank of Bermuda shares gained 25 cents to close at $19 on volume of 1,412 shares to help push the Index up 5.64 points to close at 1057.96 on volume of 8,249 shares worth $116,948.88.

Overal, two issues gained, one closed down and three traded unchanged yesterday on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Bermuda Home gained 25 cents to close at $10.50 on volume of 950 while Hemisphere preferred fell 12.5 cents to $7.125 on volume of 1,070.

Issues closing unchanged were; Belco, $20, 2,500, Devonshire Industries, $10.125, 817 and BF&M preferred, $9.50, 1,500.

Stevedoring Services announced a dividend of nine cents per share to shareholders of record September 15 payable September 30.
