And even residents in the tourist hotspot of Maui, Hawaii, agree Bermuda is best.

Maleia Marsden, who lived and worked on the Island between 1987-91, said: "Many people are envious that I live in Maui.

"But honestly, in my heart Bermuda is the best spot on earth. I would return in a second as I miss the beautiful beaches, blue ocean and especially the Bermudian people.

A random selection of entries to the guestbook has visitors, former residents, Bermudians overseas and even the children of former US Navy personnel educated at Roger B. Chaffee High School giving the Island the thumbs-up as a destination.
