The Index, which was renamed yesterday, had volume of 30,071 shares worth $501,853. Just one issue experienced a price change as Belco Holdings closed down 25 cents to $21.50.

The FT/BSX Bermuda Insurance Index closed down 6.05 points to close at 798.83.
