A total of 97,320 local shares, valued at $1,782,149.88, traded for the week as advancers led decliners. Crosses of 1,307,775 were valued at US$132,722,049.
Of the local issues, TeleBermuda International stood out as the biggest gainer, rising 50 cents or 5.88 percent to $8.50 on a volume of 3,800.
The biggest decline for the week was Watlington Waterworks losing 50 cents or 8.33 percent, to close at $6 on a volume of 1,200.
Bank stocks continued to be the most active issuers, with Bank of Bermuda and Bermuda Commercial Bank rising $0.125 for the week, while Bank of Bermuda Warrants lost a dollar and Bermuda Home loss 25 cents.
