BTC deal boosts Millennium

1,578.42 on a volume of 39,861 shares valued at $631,417, and bonds worth $16,480.

The biggest gainer was Millennium International which gained 75 cents to close at $4 on the news the company had received $8 million in cash from Bermuda Telephone Co. for subsidiary Logic Communications.

Other gainers inclued Belco Holdings which rose $1 to $24, and Bank of Butterfield which rose 63 cents to close at $17.13.

Bermuda Commercial Bank warrants lost 33 percent of its value, or 25 cents, to close at 50 cents. Other declines included Bank of Bermuda which fell 50 cents to close at $35, and Bermuda Telephone which fell 75 cents to $34.
