Mr. Eugene Bean is to become general manager of operations, with all operating divisions of the business reporting directly to him. Mr. Richard Krupp is being appointed general manager of finance and administration, with responsibility for all financial, pricing, contracts, human resources and other related areas.
Both men will report directly to Mr. Donald Hunter , who will remain as managing director and CEO of BAS and ASB. The changes become effective on July 1, 1992.
*** Alexander Insurance Managers Bermuda, the captive subsidiary of US-based Alexander and Alexander Services Inc., has made four management appointments.
Mr. Andrew McComb , who joined the company's Bermuda office in 1985 as an account executive, has been promoted to managing director. In 1987, Mr. McComb became vice president of Hemisphere Marine and General Assurance Company, which provides financial insurance and reinsurance programmes. After serving as general manager of AIM's Singapore office during 1989/90, Mr. McComb joined the Bermuda operation in December, 1990, as senior vice president.
Mrs. Catriona Godfrey and Mr. Philip Barnes have both been promoted to assistant vice president, client financial services. Mrs. Godfrey and Mr.
Barnes both joined AIM in May, 1986, as account executives and became senior account executives with the responsibility for the financial management of client companies in January, 1988.
Ms Joanne Maybury has been promoted to assistant vice president, insurance services. Ms Maybury joined AIM in March, 1982, as an insurance trainee, and was promoted to insurance coordinator in 1985 and to senior insurance coordinator in 1988. She is a graduate of Berkeley Institute and Monroe Business Institute.
