Associate Underwriter of Mid Ocean Re, in which XL has invested $100 million for a 27 percent stake.

Mr. Berry has been involved with Mid Ocean Re, for which XL had the initial management contract, since its inception in October, 1992. He has previously worked for Insco and Stockholm Re.
