HORIZONS MAKES TOP TEN LIST NJ TOU Horizons makes top ten list A Bermuda cottage colony has been deluged by interested holiday makers after being named in an American newspaper as one of the ten best places for breakfast in bed.
Keith Bellows, the editor in Chief of National Geographic Traveller, wrote in USA Today that rooms at Horizons in Paget came with their own maids who visit each morning to make breakfast for you.
He wrote: "You can ask for just about anything from a traditional English breakfast to Bermuda's signature banana cake.'' Horizons manager Brian Crook said: "For such a small article it has had a lot of impact. The phone hasn't stopped ringing. We have had 30 to 40 calls already and we will probably have more tomorrow when people have more time to ring. We have been doing this for decades and it's something we want to maintain. It's something people look forward to when they come back.'' And he said one of his colleagues had been interviewed live on the radio in the States about the holiday homes.
