Tourism Minister David Allen is leading a local delegation at the American Society of Travel Agents 70th World Travel Congress in Las Vegas.

Accompanying him is Tourism Director Richard Calderon, and the pair are manning a Bermuda booth at the Las Vegas Convention Centre at the event, due to finish today.

The Island had a booth featuring a pink cottage with shutters and chairs, intended to convey a Bermuda atmosphere. Visitors were given Bermuda bags, specially made for the occasion and fish chowder and dark `n' stormies.

More than 4,000 travel industry representatives were expected to take part in the event, which ran from Sunday to today.
