The common stock of BF&M, which faces a possible legal challenge over its assets, fell by $3 to $65 on volume of 419. BF&M's nine percent preference shares remained at $9 on volume of 147.

The Exchange Index ended the week at 1,166.45 -- up one-hundredth of a point on the day.

Shares worth $1.644 million and bonds worth $105,000 were traded on the Exchange last week.
