New look for a touch of class

Owner and manager Ms Valerie Rowling said the new location was more convenient to customers and was likely to increase business.

Washington Mall, in Hamilton.

Owner and manager Ms Valerie Rowling said the new location was more convenient to customers and was likely to increase business.

"I'm pleased to be relocating on the mezzanine level of the Washington Mall,'' she said.

"It will provide easier access for my clientele and open the door to new customers who found Shelly Bay out of the way.'' As well as a new location, A Touch of Class has also received a new look and added exclusive new lines.

The store is introducing a Canadian line by Linda Lundstrom, whose clothes are geared towards the "modern woman'', said Ms Rowling.

All current lines are being kept on and silk clothes for men and women will be imported from China.

Joining the staff will be Ms Gloria Rego, formerly of Celine's, who said: "Easy-care fabrics and fashionable, comfortable clothes are an important focus for today's clothing retailer.

"Today's woman is a well-informed, intelligent and discriminating consumer who wants washable fabrics that can move from daytime to evening with a simple change of accessory. That, in a nut shell, is what will be promoted in this shop.''
