Surf your way to a new boat this summer
If you're looking to cruise around in your own boat this summer then BermudaBoats.com, an online brokerage firm, should be the first site you hit while surfing the Web.
The dot.com company has an inventory of some 40 boats and other watercraft, which are up for sale.
The company also provides other services such as listings of moorings for rent or sale and a marine goods classifieds section.
Owned and operated by Mr. James Watson, the company acts as an agent for the boat seller and potential buyer.
He said the site was updated weekly here in Bermuda and is maintained by a server in Callifornia.
Each of the vessels listed has its own page with colour images of the boat and various other specifications. Listings are free but when BermudaBoats.com makes a sale on a boat they have listed, they receive a commission for the sale.
Bermuda.Boats has also become the local representatives for Seastrike, a manufacturer of 15-24-feet centre-console boats; Legacy, a manufacturer of picnic style boats; and Novurania.
For sale: BermudaBoats.com founder James Wadson stands in front of one of the boats listed for sale on his website.
