employed at The Harbourmaster. The soft spoken teenager started work there August of last year and loves her part time job.

The aspect of work which she most enjoys is helping the customer decide which item is the best buy.

"The best retail advice that I have received so far is that you should always give the customer your full attention and serve the customer to the best of your ability,'' she said.

Miss Thornhill usually works at The Harbourmaster on Saturdays, the summers, and during the busiest time of the year, the shopping season just before Christmas.

"Ms Robertson is an agreeable boss and does an excellent job scheduling the staff. She is a highly efficient boss,'' Miss Thornhill said.

The most popular luggage among teens is the `Kipling' according to Miss Thornhill. Kipling is water proof, durable and stylish. For college students she recommends Kipling, especially the duffel bags because they are soft, durable, come in assorted colours and hold plenty.

"Working at The Harbourmaster has taught me skills such as better organisation, how to communicate well with others and the importance of small businesses in Bermuda,'' explained Miss Thornhill.
