Bermuda's International Airport on Monday when two aircraft limped in with technical problems.
Fire crews were on standby just before 11 a.m. when a LearJet with three people on board came in for an emergency landing with just one of its two jet engines running.
The aircraft touched ground safely without incident.
But less than three hours later the pilot of a transport plane radioed in to confirm that he was having problems with the aircraft's hydraulics and would have to make an emergency landing.
Again the emergency services were on standby and again the troubled jet landed and its crew of six landed safely.
