Bank of Bermuda stocks soared to a new all-time high yesterday, pushing up the index to a record level.

Bank of Bermuda shares rose $1.25 or 2.3 percent to $54.50, a new record for the Island's largest bank.
Bank of Butterfield closed unchanged at $31.00, but Bermuda Commercial Bank closed up 75 cents at $9.25. Its warrants also rose 50 cents to $2.00.
Kentucky Fried Chicken lost 25 cents to close at $4.75 and Bermuda Container Line gained 5 cents to finish at $5.25.
The index closed up 39.66 or 1.49 percent at a record 2,709.34 on a volume of 37,875 shares worth $981,326.25.
