Sales & Customer Services Department of Cable & Wireless.

Mr. Symonds has been with Cable & Wireless for 13 years, gaining experience in various departments, including Technical Operations, the International Network Operations Centre and the Telex and Packet Switching Department.

A graduate of Berkeley Institute, he underwent further education at Bermuda College and the Cable & Wireless College in the UK.

In addition to his other duties, Mr. Symonds is a staff trainer in Cable & Wireless' Total Quality Culture programme.

*** The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda have announced the following employment changes: Mr. Richard Andrew Halluk to the Bank of Bermuda, Mr.

Desmond John Nash to Am-Re Managers (Bermuda), and Mr. David Tak Saruwatari to Schroders (Bermuda).

*** Mr. Lionel J.C. Williams has been named vice president/sales & marketing at Mermaid Beach Club to develop and implement marketing for the hotel.

Mr. Williams will also run Mermaid Beach's corporate reservations concerns, International Resort Services and Knightsbridge Reservation Service in North America.

Mr. Williams, who has 14 years of experience in the travel industry, formerly worked for Celebrity Cruises as national director/corporate & incentive sales in New York and Miami.

He has also held positions with Royal Cruise Line and the Bermuda Department of Tourism in Boston and New York.
