Bank of Bermuda advanced 50 cents to $30 on a volume of 6,134, while Bank of Butterfield also moved up 50 cents to $15 after 12,460 shares traded.

Other advancers included Belco, up $1.25 to $24.75 on a volume of 125 and Argus Insurance, which rose 50 cents to $14 on a volume of 2,318.
