more week to prove a rival firm has an illegal licence.

The Bermuda Telephone Company, represented by Diel and Myers, is insisting the operating licence for Quantum Communications is illegal according to the Telecommunications Act.

The row is threatening to delay Hamilton's CCTV project -- because Quantum will provide the data linking cameras with the Police control room.

BTC appealed against a Telecommunication Commission order to link Quantum with their network earlier this month.

They filed their case to Minister E.T. (Bob) Richards two weeks ago. Quantum have given their own submission to Sen. Richards.

And now BTC have another week to respond before the Minister makes a final decision on Quantum's licence.
