Premier David Saul said the conference, to be held at the Princess Hotel, will also be attended by Foreign Office Minister Sir Nicholas Bonsor, who has responsibility for Bermuda and the Caribbean dependent territories.
While Dr. Saul did not comment on the details of the meeting, it is likely that controversial plans by Britain to allow governors in the Caribbean territories -- although not Bermuda -- to "reject, amend and introduce'' legislation.
Sir Nicholas announced the move in the House of Commons last month, saying it was being made in response to "actual or potential problems (in the territories)''.
The dependent territory gathering will be attended by Governor Lord Waddington, John Kelly, Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands and former Deputy Governor of Bermuda, F.J. Savage from Montserrat, D.P.R. MacKilligan from British Virgin Islands, A.N. Hoole from Anguilla and J.W. Owen from Cayman Islands.
