The 30-year old Bermudian Chartered Accountant grew up in Vancouver and was schooled at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in 1987.

He returned to Bermuda in 1991 after articling for his CA with Touche Ross in Halifax, and joined the C&W subsidiary, Cable & Wireless Network Services, of which he remains company secretary.

With Mr. Outerbridge's new appointment as of May 1, the C&W senior management team now comprises eight Bermudians and one non-Bermudian. Mr. Outerbridge is married with two children.
