new general manager and vice president of Elbow Beach Hotel.

Mr. Patrick Lupsha was a regional vice president at the Wyndham chain before coming to Bermuda.

He replaces American Mr. Tim Russell who left the post after only a year.

"During his decade-long career at Wyndham, Pat Lupsha has proved that he knows how to keep the all-important repeat customer coming back as well as attract new guests,'' Wyndham president Mr. Eric Danziger said yesterday in announcing the appointment.

He added: "With its recent $20 million restoration, we see Elbow Beach continuing to dazzle leisure and business travellers who love the resort and return to it year after year.'' Mr. Lupsha began his career with Wyndham in 1984 as general manager of Wyndham San Antonio.

"My family and I are truly delighted to live in this Island paradise and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the community,'' Mr. Lupsha said.

"I have a common goal with the excellent staff at Elbow Beach: enhancing our guests' experiences while in Bermuda.''
