Meanwhile, Hemisphere's Group's preferred shares closed unchanged yesterday at $5.50 on volume of 6,500.

Hemisphere 9.75% preferred and common shares were first listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange on Friday.

Bermuda Home closed up 12.5 cents at $6.875 on volume of 5,176.

Bank of Butterfield closed unchanged at $12.50 on volume of 2,090 and Bank of Bermuda held at $19.50 on volume of 5,104.

The Exchange Index closed down .43 points to 1,085.79 on volume of 26,370 shares worth $255,665.
