As part of the partnership, the BSX Index will now be known as the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index. Ther BSX has a similar arrangment with the Financial Times for its Insurance Index.

The BSX is now providing the newspaper with graphs of the Exchange's local companies' index and of the Bermuda Insurance Index along with the regular daily report.

In addition The Royal Gazette will be publishing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday a report provided by the BSX on all its 171 listed mutual funds.

"We are thrilled that The Royal Gazette has decided to expand its financial section information,'' BSX corporate communications manager Joanne MacPhee said.

Royal Gazette Editor William Zuill said the newspaper will also look at providing more editorial content on personal investing in the Business section of the Saturday edition.

"We are considering the possibility of expanding the Saturday Business section to accommodate the increased listing of funds and to provide more financial information, especially on personal investing.'' When that occurs, he said, the mutual fund listings are likely to be published on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
