Giant car ship makes grand appearance

Pioneer Leader arrived in local waters on Monday evening but was forced to go to anchor overnight as she awaited dock space.
The NYK Line vessel is en route to Nassau, Bahamas from Port au Prince, Haiti, and offloaded 91 vehicles and 120 cases of spare parts before leaving on Tuesday.
New vehicles were also brought aboard the weekly run of the Oleander which arrived on Sunday. Six cars and five buses were among the ship's regular cargo of 115 dry containers, 41 refrigerated containers, and four road trailers of structured steel. And the Bermuda Islander delivered 84 dry and 14 refrigerated containers on Monday.
In cruising news, the Zenith and Norwegian Crown arrived on Monday. The Zenith berthed at Penno's Wharf in St. George's before trading places with the Norwegian Crown in Hamilton. The Zenith carried 1,534 passengers and the Norwegian Crown had 1,158.
Both ships sail today.
On Tuesday, the Horizon arrived at the West End in Dockyard on the first of ten runs from New York. The ship's 1,535 passengers will leave tomorrow from Hamilton.
Also arriving on Tuesday, the Norwegian Majesty , with 1,241 passengers, and the Song of America , with 1,500 passengers, both docked in St. George's.
And both set sail tomorrow.
