Global Crossing to go on NYSE

To celebrate the listing, Global Crossing chairman and founder Gary Winnick will ring the opening bell at the NYSE on November 6.

Global Crossing subsidiary IXnet, which provides global Extranet for the financial services community, has announced a three-year agreement with TRADESCAPE.com(TM) Inc. to host and distribute its complete range of trading technologies and applications.

FT TO PUBLISH SURVEY SUR FT to publish survey The Financial Times has announced it is planning to publish a special survey report on Bermuda for June 29, 2001.

The newspaper has 1.7 million readers worldwide, and the edition will be stored electronically for six months on their Internet database.

So far the proposed editorial content of the section is not known.

BUYBACK COMPLETED BUC Buyback completed Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd., owners of The Royal Gazette yesterday advised the Bermuda Stock Exchange that it had completed its share repurchase programme.

The total number of shares repurchased to date is 70,000. This figure is equal to the number stated in the original authority given by the company's directors which was reported to the BSX in October 1997.
