Mr. Kraselsky has been appointed vice president of marketing Atlantica Networks while Mr. Knuutila will serve as vice president of network development Atlantica Networks.
Mr. Kraselsky will have responsibility for product life management, pricing and promotion.

GlobeNet is expanding its BUS-1 network by laying a 22,500-kilometre fibre optic ring, Atlantica-1, to connect North and South America.
The first leg of the path is scheduled to be operational in September 2000.
