The Meridian arrived in Dockyard, from New York, on Tuesday with 1,333 passengers and was scheduled to leave Bermuda at 5 p.m. tomorrow.

John S. Darrell reported that the Royal Majesty arrived at Ordnance Island, St. George's, from Boston, on Tuesday with 1,263 passengers.

And the Song of America arrived on Tuesday from New York with 1,501 passengers.

It shifted from Penno's Wharf, St. George's to Hamilton yesterday morning.

Both ships were scheduled to leave on tomorrow.

The Belize-registered cement ship MV Starfish arrived at Dockyard on Monday from Venezuela to discharge cement for the Bermuda Cement Company Limited. It left yesterday morning.

And the British/Grand Cayman-registered motor yacht Eco left the Island last week Thursday for the Mediterranean after a five-day visit.

The 210-foot yacht, considered to be the world's fastest, berthed at Ordnance Island before shifting to Hamilton.

Meanwhile in container ship news, Meyer reported that the Bermuda Islander arrived on Sunday morning from Salem, New Jersey with 83 containers, including 15 refrigerated containers.

It left the following morning.

Container Ship Management said the Oleander arrived on Sunday from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey with 123 dry containers, 38 refrigerated ones, two mafis of manhole covers, four cars, one boat, and three flatbeds of steel metal decking and reinforcement bars.
