In fact, 312 BBC shares sold for $4.75, a full $1.25 lower than what they last traded for in October.

Also falling $0.50 was Argus Insurance on a volume of 274, closing at $10. And Bank of Bermuda dropped $0.25 on a volume of 5,745, closing at $22.75.

Bermuda Electric Light Company traded at an unchanged price of $20 on a volume of 398 and Watlington Waterworks was also unchanged at $12 on a trade of 22.

The index was down 8.34 to 1,174.68, with share volume at 6,751, valued at $143,145.
