Marketing seminar
next week to help educate local professionals.
Scheduled for Friday, October 29 at the Hamilton Princess Hotel, the seminar will be chaired and organised by Mrs. Keren Lomas, proprietor of local law firm, Keren VP Lomas Associates.
About 55 local accountants, lawyers, insurance and management company executives are expected to attend.
"The speakers will be informing everyone about how to effectively market Bermuda, despite the restraints of the recession,'' said Mrs. Lomas.
Keynote speaker is Mr. Dennis Kleinfeld, a partner of Kleinfeld & Spivack in Miami, Florida and chairman of the Offshore Institute's education committee.
The Offshore Institute, based in the Isle of Man, is an educational and networking organisation for the offshore financial industry.
The theme of Mr. Kleinfeld's speech will be "Bermuda: The Global Perspective''.
Other speakers will include Senior Manager of Corporate Banking at the Bank of Bermuda, Mr. John Swain; Appleby, Spurling & Kempe partner Mr. John Campbell; and Ms Lynda Milligan-Whyte, a partner of Milligan-Whyte & Smith.
