The Minister and Tourism Director Richard Calderon will be representing the Island at the event, being held in Barbados from October 16 to 19.

Both officials will be in the Caribbean from this Friday for CTO business meetings.

The meetings conclude before the conference-proper gets underway, with this year's theme of "managing constant change''.

The event will be attended by Tourism Ministers, directors, cruise lines, airlines, hoteliers, travel agents and travel-related media.

MAN DENIES SEX ATTACK CTS CRM Man denies sex attack A 33-year-old Warwick man appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday, charged with sexually assaulting a ten-year-old boy.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to two charges, alleged to have occurred between June 28 and July 17.

Venous Telford represented the accused and a trial date was set for December.

Crown counsel Oonagah Goodred had no objection to bail.

The man was released on $1,000 bail with one surety.

Two Motorola radios were taken from the gym at the Heron Bay Primary School on Middle Road, Southampton -- they were found missing on Friday afternoon.

MAN ATTACKED IN CLUB CRM Man attacked in club A 39-year-old Smith's Parish man was hospitalised after being repeatedly struck in the face by another man at the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club on Monday night.

Police are now investigating the attack at the North Shore Road, Devonshire venue.

DRUGS COST MAN $300 CTS Drugs cost man $300 A Pembroke man was fined $300 yesterday after pleading guilty to possession of a plastic bag containing traces of cocaine.

John Robert Pace, 48, of Rockville Lane, was arrested on May 21 when officers went to his house to execute an arrest warrant on a separate matter.

He was taken to Hamilton Police station where he was searched and a plastic bag with a white residue was found in his pocket.

Police cautioned him and asked what the bag was for, but he made no reply.

The bag was sent to the Government Analyst where the white residue was identified as cocaine.

Pace had nothing to say before Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner fined him $300, giving him until November 10 to pay.
