Hamilton alderman Mr. William Frith, last night lit up Hamilton's Christmas lights to start the late Friday night shopping season. The lighting up ceremony outside the Bermuda Library was followed by a parade of marching bands and majorettes. Hundreds of people jammed City streets last night to take advantage of the pre-Christmas extravaganza.
