With 15 years investment management experience, Ms Sousa previously spent six years at the Bank of Bermuda in a senior portfolio management role.

The new listing manager is responsible for the vetting of all applications for the listing of new issues on the BSX, as well as on-going compliance by listed issuers and the implementation of listing regulations.

Meanwhile, Robin H. McPhee has been appointed marketing manager, after coordinating the Bermuda Commercial Bank's marketing initiatives as international marketing officer.

The additions bring to nine the total complement of staff at the BSX.
