will carry details of the news across the sea to New York next month.

The firm is set to host a symposium for international business service providers on October 13.

Describing the symposium as "a proactive move'' by the company, Malcolm Butterfield said: "Not only have we invited a collection of domestic merchants who are involved, but also international service providers from across the US that we hope will take advantage of this.

"It will also give us a much broader audience, what we call the producers of work,'' he continued.

"These are people like lawyers and accountants, professional people who could refer work to us.'' Most members of the team will present at the October information event including the lawyer who handled the Cayman Islands side of the case and a former American judge who is deemed to have been one of the best bankruptcy judges in the US federal system.

The team revealed that they are now working on another similar project and said that interest is mounting from other companies looking to re- structure and re-finance.

"I've received two or three enquiries from people who may be concerned with doing the same thing for other groups,'' said Robin Mayor, "so it is clearly something that is going to take off.'' BUSINESS BUC
