Texaco Inc. fills managerial post
position of manager, special services.
Ms Marsh will also fulfil broking responsibilities with Heddington Brokers Ltd., Texaco's Bermuda subsidiary brokerage company.
"Ms Marsh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her assignment. This appointment will enable us to capitalise on her insurance experience, and, in particular, her knowledge of personal lines insurance, such as travel accident, fidelity and fiduciary markets,'' said Robert C. Golden, general manager of Texaco's risk management department.
Mr. Golden is also president and CEO of Texaco's Bermuda-based captive Heddington Insurance Ltd.
Ms Marsh joined Texaco in 1976 as a secretary in the tax department and was promoted to supervisor in the corporate services department in 1978. In 1981 she was transferred to the risk management department, formerly the insurance department, and has since assumed other positions of responsibility, most recently assistant manager, special services in 1991.
In 1980 she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Iona College and received Certification in paralegal from Lehman College in 1984. Ms Marsh is also working towards completion of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation, according to a release from Texaco.
