The Bermuda Stock Exchange index continued to rise, being pushed up by ever increasing bank stock.

Yesterday a new record was reached of 2,296.81 after Bank of Bermuda stock rose to a new all-time high of $45.95.
Bank of Butterfield also rose $1 yesterday, closing at its all-time high of $26.00. The only other stock to trade was KeyTech, which fell 75 cents to $35.25.
The index closed up 32.53 points or 1.44 percent on a volume of 24,144 shares worth $968,159. No bonds were traded.
