The Bermuda Stock Exchange index fell 5.38 points on Friday after two local shares both dropped by 25 cents.

Bank of Butterfield saw shares fall by one percent to $24.75 and Long Botham Boats Co, owners of Henry VIII, dropped 5.9 percent to $4. The index fell 0.24 percent on a volume of 14,675 shares worth $610,584.20.
