The Bermuda Stock Exchange rose over 10 point yesterday after the price of shares in the Bank of Butterfield and BELCO rose.

Bank of Butterfield stock rose 45 cents or 2.8 percent to close at $16.45 and BELCO rose 35 cents or 1.8 percent to close at $20.00.
The index closed at 1,649.26 on a volume of 6,362 shares worth $193,725.70.
